Working directly under the guidance of our Head of Player Recruitment, you will be assigned specific leagues, regions, or individual matches to track. Your primary focus will be identifying open-age talent capable of making an immediate impact on our First Team or Development match day squads.
What you’ll be doing:
- Targeted Scouting: Executing specific scouting assignments handed down by the Head of Player Recruitment.
- Player Assessment: Attending competitive local matches to evaluate technical quality, physical attributes, and in-game character
- Structured Reporting: Compiling concise, objective player reports using the club's standard criteria and submitting them directly to the clubs database for the Head of Player Recruitment.

- A sharp tactical eye and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in men's open-age football
- The ability to work as part of a structured recruitment department—taking direction well and hitting deadlines with reports.
- Reliability, objectivity, and excellent networking skills within Manchester's amateur football scene.
